McAnlis Law Group is hiring a paralegal/legal assistant able to e-file with courts, create documents with software, organize files and work in a coordinating role with our attorneys, courts and clients. Key components of the job include using several software systems effectively, creating new cases, tracking case progress, filing motions electronically, calendar coordination and client communication.

McAnlis Law Group is a collegial practice in NE Indianapolis focusing in real estate related matters. The position is based at 711 E. 65th St., Indianapolis, IN 46220. Pay rate negotiable based on experience of successful candidate.

REQUIRED
Experience working in a law firm environment is a plus.

• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills -- you will be talking to clients, the court and your colleagues throughout the day
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel)
• Must be self-motivated and able to work well with a team.
• Must be able to deliver high quality work under pressure.
• Lifting/carrying of small items.

• Perform word processing tasks
• Create, prepare and process manual and automated forms
• Update databases and spreadsheets
• Photocopy and compile documents
• Organize and maintain files
• Performs other routine duties as assigned
