The primary role of the Financial Analyst is designing and implementing functionality within the financial system, and ensuring proper interactions with supporting systems. To achieve this, the analyst performs analysis of existing processes and systems, understands the overall function of the system, learns the vendor design tools, and interacts with hospital staff in achieving agreed upon designs.
