Position Purpose

*No prior surveying experience required*

Entry-level position as part of a construction staking crew to assist with field work/surveying activities/construction staking including the maintenance of all equipment. Essential Functions Responsibilities

• Be assigned to a team that is responsible for surveying land and collecting data about land conditions before development projects
• Adjust and operate construction staking equipment such as Leica/Nikon, digital and automatic levels, and various tools and equipment 
• Move and carry all surveying instruments at job sites across various kinds of landscapes
• Use well-established standards to record survey measurements and descriptive data using data collectors and GPS
• All work is outdoors and crews work in all weather conditions
