Job Overview:

We are seeking a Spanish-speaking Immigration Paralegal to join our team. As an Immigration Paralegal, you will provide support to attorneys in all aspects of immigration law. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong legal administrative skills and a passion for immigration law.

Responsibilities:

- Assist attorneys in preparing and filing immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents

- Conduct legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and procedures

- Draft legal documents, including affidavits, declarations, and correspondence

- Manage document management systems and maintain organized case files

- Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and completeness

- Assist with contract drafting and review

- Assist with litigation preparation, including drafting pleadings and discovery requests

- File documents with government agencies and courts

- Perform data entry tasks to update client information in the case management system

- Conduct client interviews to gather necessary information for case preparation

- Provide excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and government agencies

Skills:

- Strong legal drafting skills with attention to detail

- Proficiency in document management systems and legal research databases

- Excellent proofreading skills to ensure accuracy of legal documents

- Ability to draft contracts and assist with litigation preparation

- Experience with file management and organization

- Proficient in data entry tasks with high accuracy

- Strong interviewing skills to gather relevant information from clients

- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and processes

- Excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients and other parties involved in the case

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
