TITLE SETTLEMENT PROCESSOR

About this Role:
The Settlement Processor is responsible for processing real estate files from pre-processing handoff (or includes pre-processing tasks) to file being ready for closing. Frequent communications with buyers, sellers, agents, and others to obtain necessary documents. Coordinate preliminary closing schedule. Ensure all documents are accurate and complete for the Settlement Agent to handle closing. Consistently handle 40-60 files/month with minimal errors and within deadlines. This position will work on-site in our Stafford, VA office.
Minimum Qualifications:
· High School or GED required.
· Minimum 4-5 years' real estate title processing experience required. (Pre-processing or post-closing experience may substitute for 1 year of processing experience.)
· Must be able to consistently handle volume of 40-60 files/month with minimal errors and meet business deadlines.
· Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office.
· Knowledge of title-related software required; Qualia and Resware strongly preferred.
· Must be able to satisfactorily pass a background and credit check.
