Position Summary

The grant funded Cyber Range TrainingInstructor will provide training on cybersecurityconcepts to trainees to ensure they have the knowledge and skills necessary tomonitor and identify security threats, protect, maintain, and secure a networkinfrastructure. Develop, implement, and maintain a cybersecurity trainingprogram to measurably improve security and awareness; evaluate trainingmaterials and resources to ensure training objectives have been met. The CyberRange Training Instructor will work closely with MassBay faculty and curriculumdeveloper, Cyber Range Manager, and the Cyber Range platform provider.
The CyberRange Training Instructor reports to the Dean ofSTEM division.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Deliver classroom and virtual cyber range training to a variety of technical audiences
• Offer hands-on training to employees of small businesses, municipalities, and none-profits about a variety of cybersecurity topics, such as security awareness, identifying threats and vulnerabilities, AC, SIEM, end-point security, as well as protection and prevention methods

• Facilitate training using approved materials to comprehensively cover the training material without significant variation to ensure a consistent trainee experience
• Coach participants through lab exercises and troubleshoot any issues that arise
  Assist in the planning and content of exercises
  Assist with or integrating new security technologies into the cyber range infrastructure.
