The Rigging Inspection Coordinators Manager leads the daily operations for all Rigging Inspection Supervisors including safety, sales, administration, inventory, and operations. This position works with the Rigging Inspections Leadership Team to establish/implement a business plan to reach/surpass the budgeted operating profit goal and realize our BHAG.
1. Audit the daily schedule and monitor resource utilization2. Establish/monitor pricing policies and resulting gross margins3. Monitor adherence/relay updates to the RIS Cookbook and develop/implement new policies as needed4. Recruit, hire, and develop team members for specific roles within the RIS organization5. Direct customer relationships for white glove accounts6. Supervise consumable item purchasing for customer projects/technicians and manage the supplier relationships for all products7. Implement and help develop the quality standard for the inspection department8. Maintain work area, equipment, and tools in a clean and organized manner; follow all Safety Guidelines9. Other duties as assigned
EducationA high school diploma or GED is required; an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university with a focus in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, or related discipline; in the absence of a degree, directly-related job experience serving in an industrial management role, where a number of years and proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement
Experience & Skills: • 5 years of prior industrial manufacturing experience and service with proven experience meeting and exceeding goals• Experience is overhead lifting/rigging/metal roofing products is preferred• Proven leadership skills related to employee relations and problem resolution• Must be able to lift or pull a minimum of 50 pounds• Requires solid written and verbal communication skills• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude• Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills are required• Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office) are required• Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to multi-task• Must successfully complete a criminal background check, drug screen and E-verify
