Mazza Mechanical Services Inc., a leading company in the commercial-industrial HVAC construction industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our estimation team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a competitive, team-oriented environment where you will be challenged and learn new skills. As an Estimator, you will be trained to evaluate bid plans, compile accurate equipment and material take-offs, and work with vendors and sub-contractors to define work scopes and obtain proposals. Your contributions will be crucial in helping us successfully bid and win mechanical and/or plumbing projects.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating bid plans and specifications
• Performing and compiling accurate equipment and material take-offs
• Working with outside vendors and sub-contractors to define work scopes and obtain proposals
• Ensuring all information is accurately submitted to successfully bid and win mechanical and/or plumbing projects

Qualifications

• Mechanical or technical aptitude
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Adobe
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
• High degree of analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail
• Ability to manage stress while meeting demanding deadlines
• Positive, “can-do” attitude
• Willingness to learn and be part of a team
• BS / AAS in Engineering, Construction Management, Drafting or related field
• Previous experience in a competitive team environment is beneficial
