Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform dental charting and record patient information
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe environment
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records

Skills:
- Proficient in Dentrix and Epic dental software systems
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols in a dental setting
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques used in dentistry
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Solid understanding of dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate assistance
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dentist and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. Your skills in Dentrix and Epic software will be essential for managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and providing accurate treatment documentation. Your knowledge of pediatric dentistry, medical coding, infection control, and medical imaging will contribute to providing high-quality care to our patients. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
