Job Summary:

As a generator technician, you’ll have the professional responsibility to perform tests on finished products and/or product components prior to shipping and ensure these tests are performed in accordance with all applicable guidelines.

You will work closely with engineers, production staff, and other stakeholders and assist with the definition of required procedures and equipment to ensure the quality and the functionality of our products. As such, you must effectively communicate the results of tests to highlight issues or concerns that may impact the quality or performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Test products for safety, compliance, and performance to applicable requirements.

· Document all tests performed.

· Assist in the development of all test procedures. This includes working with engineering and quality to develop testing requirements for components, subassemblies, products provided by suppliers, etc.

· Troubleshooting any errors and streamline the testing processes.

· Provide feedback about testing challenges and make recommendations for changes to for integrate into future processes.

· Prepare test reports.

· Inspect and verify accuracy of testing tools and equipment.

· Discussing findings with other team members.

· Other duties and responsibilities as requested by management.

Job Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent. An associate degree in non-destructive testing, applied technology, or similar preferred.

· Knowledge of and prior testing of internal combustion engines (required)

· 3 years of relevant industry experience as a production test technician, product tester or similar role.

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics a plus.

· Must have proficient computer skills.

Miscellaneous:

· Proven ability to identify, assess and solve problems.

· Ability to work unsupervised.

· Ability to work well under pressure.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Ability to work with data and numbers.

· Ability to analyze and interpret test results.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
