Currently we are recruiting for a 2nd Shift Machine Maintenance Technician. This position will provide the successful candidates with the chance to apply skills and work as a team within a clean and safe environment.

Experience

● Minimum 3 years operation of molding or stamping machines.

● Minimum 3 years in skilled trade capacity working on molding machinery.

Knowledge

● Set-up of plastic molding machinery and secondary equipment.

● Familiar with principles of hydraulics, electricity and pneumatics.

● Ability to trouble shoot and repair circuits using schematics, blueprints and sketches.

● Ability to properly use equipment and tools to check and repair machinery.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Ensure preventative / predictive maintenance on equipment, machinery, tools and document

PM through the Maintenance work instructions.

● Review and inspect equipment on a daily basis for safe and proper operating conditions.

● Assist with major job repairs to machine, equipment or components when needed.

● Submit requests to Management staff for proper approval and authorization of machine

● replacement parts, equipment or components.

● Follow all safety precautions on repairs to equipment, machinery and tools per MPI's /OSHA

requirements.

● Follows all safety, housekeeping, and company policies and procedures.

● Complete any other assignments as delegated through management, including occasional

operation of equipment for production.

● Coordinates and maintains all job responsibilities in a continuous and flexible

manner and performs other related duties and assignments as required.

● Responsibilities include all; but are not limited to only those listed above.
