MAYBURY MATERIAL HANDLING is Hiring a Field Service Technician (Forklift Mechanic) Near New Haven, CT
Are you an experienced automotive or diesel mechanic looking for a change from working in the same place every day doing the same thing? Maybury Material Handling is a Crown forklift dealer looking to add to our team of outstanding Road Service Technicians throughout Connecticut to support our ongoing growth.
In this position, you will travel right from your home to our warehousing, distribution and manufacturing customers in a company van to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems and components of forklifts. Our technicians also have the opportunity to grow their skills by learning to perform service on other types of material handling equipment that we sell such as conveyors, dock equipment, high speed doors, etc.

Qualifications:
- Experience as an auto or diesel mechanic or similar position, a mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting ability especially with electrical components. Forklift mechanic experience a plus but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as electrical wiring/hydraulic schematics and procedure manuals.
- Intermediate Windows, email and internet skills as well as great customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and good driving history is required. Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
