Direct Report: Medical Home Manager/Clinician Lead

Summary of Duties: Performs vital administrative tasks for urgent care center.

Essential Functions:

• Exudes excellent communication and coordination among the Care Team.

• Assures accurate coding, timely billing cycles, and accounts receivables.
• Posts and processes insurance company payments electronically when applicable.
• Monitors and reconciles unposted transactions, outstanding receivables, and patient accounts.
• Problem solves patient billing concerns via phone, mail, portal, and walk-in.
• Retrieves and analyzes performance measurements to identify areas of improvement as a member of the Care Team to establish methods for quality improvement.
• Proactively assists as a member of Care Team in addressing the needs of the patient population.
• Updates provider manuals and industry updates (i.e. Medicare, Rural Health, Medicaid, Commercial Insurance, ICD-10, etc.).
• Follows the policy and procedures of the practice.
• Performs other related duties as appropriate.

Knowledge and Education Requirements:

• High school diploma.
• Experience in the medical office setting preferred.
• Coding classroom training or equivalent experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Able to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and the general public.
• Sensitivity to confidential matters.

Physical Requirements:

• Normal physical mobility, agility and endurance.
• Normal physical strength to handle routine office materials and tools including the ability to handle a 50 pound object.
• Normal dexterity of hands and fingers.
• Normal eye-hand, hand-foot coordination.

Training/Education (included but not limited to the following):

• Continuing Education Courses/Hours completed as needed for licensing.
• Computer Program Education
• Completion of webinars and seminars to field related topics
• Examples:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• ICD-10: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Oak Forest, IL 60452: Relocate before starting work (Required)
