We are looking for Direct Care Professionals to work with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities in one of our many residential or day habilitation programs. May Center for Adult Services is looking for qualified Developmental Specialist to make a difference in the lives of adults with autism and developmental disabilities in our Day Habilitation center in Raynham, MA .
PAY RATE IS $19.00/hr Responsibilities
  • Provide coordination and leadership to individuals and staff members in a group room/community setting
  • Follow Day Habilitation and Behavioral Support plans, collect and evaluate data, and write monthly progress summaries
  • Oversee and run therapeutic goals with individuals served
  • Skill development and community integration
  • Assisting individuals in meeting their personal care and nutritional needs
  • Behavioral interventions
  • Participating in the development of DHSP/ISP objectives and documenting consumer progress
Qualifications
  • Previous behavioral experience strongly preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and at least 2 years' driving experience
  • Previous human services experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
