May Institute invites applications for the position of Clinical Director at the May Center School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities located in Randolph, MA.

May Institute offers a continuum of care that begins with applied behavioral analysis (ABA) services for toddlers newly diagnosed with an ASD, and continues with school consultation, residential placement, special education schools, and adult services to meet the needs of our many clients and their families.

Our May Center Schools for Autism and Developmental Disabilities offer full-day, year-round educational services to children and adolescents. Our schools focus on building communication, social, behavioral, vocational, and academic skills.
Who are you?
The Clinical Director holds a key leadership position within this program. In this role, you will work alongside several special education and clinical experts in the field. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the application of behavior analytic principles to address challenges with social communication and problem behavior and will assist in overseeing academic, vocational, and transition services.
ResponsibilitiesOversee up to 6 classrooms for students diagnosed with autism and related disabilities.
Supervise Behavior Analysts In All Aspects Of Programming IncludingFunctional behavior assessment (including functional analysis) and development of behavior support plans.
Development and implementation of programs to enhance student skills in the areas of social communication and interaction using a verbal behavior framework.
Staff training and professional development.
Develops, implements, and monitors clinical training systems to support teachers and behavior specialists in the implementation of educational curricula and application of ABA principles in the classroom.
Familiarity and experience with both skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments and treatment approaches, including but not limited to the VB-MAPP, Discrete Trial Instruction, and Natural Environment teaching, and Functional Analysis.
Provides support and training across day and residential settings to ensure continuity of care.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including educational staff and allied health professionals to ensure high-quality implementation of evidence-based practices.
Participate in the school leadership team guiding systems-change and capacity building in applied behavior analysis.
QualificationsCertification as a BCBA.
Doctoral degree in psychology, behavior analysis, education or related field preferred.
Minimum three-years of experience providing applied behavior analytic services to individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities.
