Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Flatwork professional to join our team. As a Flatwork specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to concrete flatwork, including pouring, finishing, and repairing concrete surfaces. This is a paid position with opportunities for career growth. Duties: - Prepare work area by cleaning and leveling the surface - Set up forms to ensure proper shape and dimensions - Pour concrete into forms and spread it evenly using tools such as rakes and shovels - Use hand and power tools to finish concrete surfaces, including smoothing, leveling, and edging - Apply curing compounds or sealants to protect the surface - Repair damaged or uneven concrete surfaces by patching or resurfacing - Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective equipment at all times Skills: - Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques - Ability to read and interpret blueprints or construction plans - Proficiency in using various hand and power tools related to flatwork - Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship - Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks in various weather conditions - Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment Please note that this is a paid position.
