Maxus Properties is seeking to hire a seasonal Groundskeeper for Pinnacle Woods Apartments in Lawrence, Kansas. Maxus Groundskeepers are responsible in part for ensuring clean, attractive visual curb appeal for our communities.

DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities of the Groundskeeper include:

• Maintain the health and visual appeal of property landscaping with the watering, mowing, pruning, trimming etc of planting trees, plants, flowers and shrubs
• Safely operate tools and chemicals such as shovel, mower, pruner, pressure washer, insecticide, fertilizer, etc.
• Assist in preparation for inclement weather depending on climate (snow for winter, hurricanes for summer, etc).
• Tidy up amenity areas (dog park, gym, pool, etc).
• Pick up and dispose of refuse/debris to ensure the communities’ attractiveness and safety.
• Distribute resident notices or community flyers.
• Report any areas of concern to the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor such as items that need repairing, restocking, or vendor involvement
• May be required to assist with make ready or maintenance requests, inspections, or inventory
• This is a seasonal position that extends from May 1st - August 31st. 40 hours per week. 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Facility or landscaping experience is preferred but we will train the right person.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing and commitment to abiding by all Fair Housing regulations is required.
