Overview:

Maxor is currently seeking an experienced Application Systems Analyst II to join the Corporate Systems 2nd Level Support team. The Application Systems Analyst documents critical incidents, track remediation, and design permanent solutions. Identify and track KPIs. Research, analyze, and design system applications to meet the needs of an organization and integrate with existing and future systems. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures, problems, and requirements. Designs models and develops materials used for analysis and solution development including process maps and diagrams. Develops documentation and other aids for users to assist with installation, maintenance and operating procedures. May create coding and logic specifications for developers. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.

Position Location

This is a remote-based position where you will work from your home office.

Responsibilities:
  1. Researches, analyzes, and designs system applications to meet the needs of an organization and integrate with existing and future systems.
  2. Consults with users to identify current operating procedures, problems, and requirements.
  3. Designs models and develops materials used for analysis and solution development including process maps and diagrams.
  4. Develops documentation and other aids for users to assist with installation, maintenance and operating procedures.
  5. May create coding and logic specifications for developers.
  6. Plan, organize and conducts business process improvement projects.
  7. Assist in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes.
  8. Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality and releases.
  9. Provide end-user support at all levels.
  10. Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  11. Collaborate with the business in gathering requirements and develop functional documentation to address business needs.
  12. Collaborate, identify and document current state and future state business processes and workflows.
  13. Develop organizational, business, application and functional process knowledge. Understand various functions end to end to identify process gaps, inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  14. Work with cross functional teams and internal users to resolve issues.
  15. Monitors project milestones and generates periodic status reports.
  16. Evaluates and manages risk. Incorporates quality measures and standards to project deliverables.
  17. Possesses strong knowledge of technology.
  18. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.
Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Management, or similar discipline from an accredited college or university.

Experience:

  • Retail Pharmacy / Pharmacy Benefit Management desirable
  • 2-4 years of directly related experience
  • 3 years developing Detailed Reports, Presentations, Requirements
  • 3 years developing IT workflows and data models desired
  • 3 years developing Use Case & Test scenarios desired
  • Software development
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
  • Seasoned experience in managing software development projects using Traditional and Agile Development methodology
  • Experience in managing infrastructure projects (hardware upgrades, new data centers, network communications, disaster recovery sites, etc.)
  • Experience in implementing vendor software
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software products including Projects desirable
  • Knowledge of JIRA and ServiceNow software desirable
  • Azure Cloud project experience desirable

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Knowledge and ability to develop using a variety of IT models.
  3. Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills in order to understand how business works.
  4. Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  5. Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  6. Conflict Management skills
  7. Planning and organization skills
  8. Competency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPooint, Visio.
  9. Strong experience in user testing and project management.
