Introduction:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Car Care Formulation Chemist to work with our team and outside partners to enhance our product formulations and develop groundbreaking new products in the realm of coatings, sealants, waxes, cleaning solutions, and more. This role is perfect for a visionary chemist who thrives on creating industry-leading technologies and formulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and improve formulations for car care products, including coatings, sealants, waxes, shampoos, and various cleaning chemicals.
• Collaborate with major chemical companies to source the most effective and innovative raw materials and chemical components.
• Conduct rigorous testing and quality control to ensure the highest standards of product efficacy and safety.
• Lead projects focused on the innovation and development of new product technologies.
• Manage confidential work involving existing intellectual property and contribute to the development of new intellectual property.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting research findings and product recommendations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in formulation chemistry, specifically in the automotive care industry.
• Strong background in the development and testing of coatings, sealants, waxes, and cleaning chemicals.
• Proven track record of innovation and success in product development.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Obsessed with testing and thinking outside of the box.
