Unarmed Security Guard - Owings Mills, MD
Schedule - Sunday and Monday 2pm-10pm (PART TIME)
Preferred Skills :

- Ability to maintain self-control in high stress situations
- Ability to communicate with not only clients and management, but the general public
- High awareness and attention to detail
- Reliable; most sites are 24 / 7 and will require you to work holidays
- Professional in appearance
Responsibilities :
- Preventing illegal or inappropriate actions by maintaining a high visibility presence.
- Performing access control procedures on vehicles, personnel, and visitors.
- Patrolling the buildings, facilities, and perimeters of the premises.
- Informing personnel and visitors of security procedures, as well as acting upon non-compliance.
- Monitoring alarm systems and video surveillance systems.
- Investigating suspicious activities and disturbances.
- Immediately reporting security breaches to designated law enforcement agents.
- Documenting observations and surveillance activities.
- Adhering to security industry regulations.
Requirements :
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Speak and be literate in English to the extent of writing, reading and understanding printed regulations, orders, instructions, etc
- At least 21 years of age (24 if driving; required by insurance)
- Must have at least 6 months of relevant security experience
- Should have or have the ability to obtain MD state Security Guard card
Must be a US Citizen!
