We are currently looking to hire a Child Development Specialists to join our interdisciplinary team. The position entails a flexible work schedule, providing individual services to children from birth to 3 years of age with varying delays at clients’ homes and/or daycare. All of our clients are located in San Fernando Valley and Antelope Valley, CA.

Duties:

• 1:1 treatment in clients’ homes or daycare centers
• Provide parent education, training, and support
• Collaborate with other clinicians as needed/requested to ensure quality of care
• Develop treatment plans, take session notes, submit progress reports in a timely manner

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience working with developmentally delayed children and/or a degree in related field
• Positive, high energy, enthusiastic, and flexible demeanor
• Reliable car, proof of auto insurance, and a valid driver's license
• Proof of immunization records, CPR certification, and current, negative TB test
• Strong work ethic, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; team-oriented
• Multilingual speaking/reading/writing skills are a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Therapy activities may require playing on the floor or settings where the furniture is child-sized
• Careful attention to the safety of the client and surroundings is required
• Sudden and quick movements may be required
• Walking, occasional running, standing, sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting,
• Reaching above the head, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Sustained physical activity may be required for up to 60 minutes
