We are looking for a skilled, detail oriented, Licensed Mental Health Practitioners to join our team. In this role you will be an integral part of our Behavioral Health Division and provide therapy to adult patients with mental illness at Lincoln Regional Center, a Joint-Commission accredited state psychiatric hospital

Qualifications / Requirements

REQUIRED: Licensed as a Mental Health Practitioner or possess another license that allows the incumbent to provide the above mental health services as required by NE. Rev. Statute 38-2122. Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Human Development, Psychology, Family Relations, Vocational Rehabilitation, Art Therapy, Divinity, Human Resources, Naturopathy, Mental Health or other field approved by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services in order to become a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner AND 3000 hours of post-degree supervised counseling experience. Valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation.

PREFERRED: Experience working with major mental illness populations. Experience providing individual and group therapy.

OTHER: License eligible candidates must be actively pursuing licensure to become fully licensed as a Mental Health Practitioner within a period not to exceed two years from date of hire, by providing mental health services under the direct clinical supervision of a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner or other qualified professional.

Hiring rate of position

Pay commensurate with licensure.

PLMHP $23.661; LMHP $27.757; LMHP/PLADC $29.838; LMHP/LACD & LIMHP $32.075. Additional $3.00/hr. facility differential.

Work schedule

Various Shifts Available: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm OR Wednesday - Saturday 8:00am - 7:00pm, with Sun/Mon/Tues off. Will discuss at interview.

Job duties

As a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner you will: Provide individual and or group therapy according to the individual treatment plan Share clinical observations with the treatment team Compile patient individual and group progress notes, documenting according to LRC Standards and DHHS/LRC policies and procedures Prepare for interdisciplinary treatment planning, actively participate in treatment planning and contribute therapist perspective and recommendations Participate in team and or clinical meetings to address program concerns and needs Participate in performance improvement Attend and participates in program planning committees, in-service training and monthly LMHP department meetings Present and participate in peer reviews to demonstrate competency
