ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• B2B Collections
• Maintain records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers as well as records of any payments collected from the customer
• Resolve customer issues and complaints concerning billing
• Submit regular reports on the status of unpaid accounts and any repayment progress
• Initiate collections of past due items via telephone and email
• Perform account reconciliations and research unapplied cash, over payments, etc.
• Maintain clear, concise, and complete notes on status of each account
• Thoroughly note all collection activity and follow up on items until final resolution is complete
• Build and maintain a positive business relationship with customers
• Assist as needed with A/P and A/R data entry and other functions as required to assist our invoicing and processing requirements on a day to day basis.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma/ GED required
• 2 years of collections experience, preferably within construction or manufacturing industry
• Must like working in a fast-paced environment and be a team player
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Trustworthy & Responsible
• Exemplary communication skills
• Sage and/or Salesforce experience a plus
