Max Arnold & Sons, a leader in convenience store and travel center operations in Western Kentucky and Franklin, TN is seeking Convenience Store Assistant Managers.

The Convenience Store Assistant Manager provides excellent customer service, efficiently takes care of the store and handles issues or circumstances that may occur in the absence of the manager. Effectively communicates any issue or circumstance out of the ordinary to the manager. Projects an atmosphere of employee friendliness towards our customers and co-workers at all times. Encourage teamwork from all employees. Maintain a neat and clean appearance of the store at all times.

Essential Functions:

• Assures training in all areas of operation.
• Effectively leads and helps to manage the entire employee group. Assures fast, friendly, convenient and courteous customer service.
• Trains, implements marketing programs and policies. Provides motivation and assists in day-to-day operations.
• Assures proper handling of cash, checks, credit cards, coupons, lottery, and all merchandise.
• Assures adequate inventory, price controls and implementation of approved motor fuels pricing direction.
• Assures entire location maintenance and appearance continually meet image standards and expectations. Required to clean the site and perform basic maintenance daily. This is a very physical job that requires lifting, moving, walking and standing daily.

Pay: $13.00 per hour
