Mawson Infrastructure Group is seeking an experienced Repair Technician to join our fast-paced field team. The role will be based out of our Midland, PA office and may require work outside of normal business hours including weekends as needed.

Reporting to the Site Manager; you will be expected to diagnose, organize, troubleshoot faulty mining units and reestablish mining ability via various repair techniques as well as compiling reports to leadership as directed. This role will be responsible for various metrics such as rapid & effective completion of tasks assigned, ownership, & improvement of repeatable tasks, and concrete agile organizational prowess.

We're looking for someone who has high levels of integrity and who can apply leadership and influencing skills when required. You will need a strong analytical mind, an eye for details and the flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing priorities.

What will you own?

• Drives installation and maintenance of on-premises connectivity infrastructure (cabling, terminations, ISP maintenance schedules, primary and secondary systems).
• Consolidate as many good units as possible from the stock of pulled dead machines using the good parts from each.
• Replace dead fans as needed.
• Clean dirt and dust from dirty machines prior to returning them to service.
• Apply new thermal paste as needed.
• Maintain metrics of repairs - # repaired, % repair rate of total units handled, etc.
• Communicate status of repair metrics daily with Site Manager to ensure good machines are returned to service ASAP.
• Teach repair methods to SEs and RE1s as needed.
• Stay abreast of industry repair techniques, innovations, and knowledge.
• Other related duties as directed by Head of Information Systems.

What you have:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience in a fast-paced virtual and in-person environment is essential; attention to detail is critical.
• Integrity and high-level confidentiality awareness
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
• Solid technical skills. Must be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Calendar Management & Teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to travel as needed, sometimes at short notice.
• Ability to work exceptionally well with all levels of internal management, external contacts, and vendors.
• Strong personal presentation & engaging demeanor.
• Ability to manage up and convey expectations, inquires effectively.

Compensation: Full-time, Hourly Non-Exempt - $15.00/hour (DOE)
