Purpose : The purposeof this role is to serve as a Packaging Operator / Material Handlerin the packaging operations of InvaGen Pharmaceuticals Inc.

at itsFall River MA project site.

Multifunctional Role : This job is a multifunctional role.The primary nature of this job is to serve as a Material Handler.

As a secondary requirement this position will be expected toprovide support to other operational functions to include but notlimited to Warehouse Operations Manufacturing Operations andFacilities Operations.

JobDescription : The Material Handler performsall functions relating to the packaging of MDI products; consistentwith established Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)customer requirements and in conjunction with all StandardOperating Procedures (SOP).

Incumbents in this position areresponsible for the safe and efficient execution of their jobduties while ensuring product compliance to establishedstandards.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities :

Understandingbasics of mechanical machinery and principles of control systems.Operating pharmaceutical packaging equipment with minimum rejectionand maximum output maintaining quality standard within standardnorms.

Cleaning machines and area as per batchto batch and product to product change over

Performing operations and preventative maintenance ofmachines.

Identifying and assisting in thecorrective actions of packaging related issues.

Correcting status labelling at all stages of packing line withsignature.

Ensuring that appropriate equipmentcalibrations are performed and records are maintained.

Ensuring line clearance before initiating packagingactivities in each area.

Wearing appropriatePPE as stated in the SOP before initiating process.

Working individually and in collaboration with others aspart of a team.

Executing procedures tocomplete tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

Completing documents on time ensuring accuracy andcompleteness.

Adhering to all cGMPscompliance / regulatory mandates and quality requirements.

Performing duties through the proper safe use of equipmentaccording to Health & Safety procedures and EquipmentManuals.

Performing other related duties asassigned.

OtherResponsibilities :

Maintaining 100%cGMP & Compliance during complete operation hours.

Must follow the Departmental SOPs.

Reporting all issues that arises to the department head orreporting manager.

Performing daily maintenanceon equipment and machinery.

Maintainingdiscipline in department.

May be required toassist in the training of other employees in thedepartment.

Flexible to work extended hours toachieve manufacturing schedule when needed. Training and Safety : All employees must undergo various training activities at the startof their employment.

New trainings and retrainings will occurperiodically. Employees must strictly adhere to all safety healthand environmental guidelines at all times and ensure that allsafety precautions are being taken during handling ofmachines.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Advanced vocational training or education is preferred.

Minimum of one (1) year experience in packagingoperations preferred.

Proficient in the Englishlanguage (Speaking / Reading / Writing) to understand work instructionsand document results.

Knowledge of fundamentalcGMP and regulatory requirements in a pharmaceutical manufacturingenvironment highly preferred.

Basicunderstanding of mechanical machinery and the operating principlesof control systems.

Ability to follow bothverbal and written instructions.

Demonstratedability to work in both independent and teamenvironments.

Good knowledge of Health &Safety procedures including OSHA.

Strongmathematical and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements :

This position requires the ability to do heavy lifting / bending frequently.

Exert an amount of forcecontinuously and / or up to 5 pounds of force frequently and / or up to25 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 50 pounds of forcerarely by utilizing a hand truck to lift carry push pull orotherwise move objects.

Ability to wearappropriate PPE is required.

Individual may berequired to wear respiratory devices that include but are notlimited to : Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR) which includehalfface and fullface negative pressure respirators hooded poweredair purifying respirators or Supplied Air Respirators (SAR) whichinclude hooded or full face supplied airrespirators.
