As a Donor Acquisition and Marketing Representative, you will play a crucial role in expanding our donor base and raising funds to support our organization's mission. You will be responsible for developing and implementing donor acquisition strategies, managing marketing campaigns, and engaging potential donors to solicit their support.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute donor acquisition strategies aimed at attracting new donors and supporters to our organization.
  • Identify and research prospective donors through various channels, including online platforms, events, and community outreach efforts.
  • Create and implement marketing campaigns and materials to promote our organization's mission and fundraising initiatives to potential donors.
  • Craft compelling messaging and content for fundraising appeals, emails, social media posts, and other marketing materials to engage with potential donors.
  • Coordinate donor acquisition events, including virtual or in-person information sessions, networking events, and donor appreciation events.
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors and supporters, providing excellent customer service and stewardship to cultivate ongoing support.
  • Track and analyze donor acquisition metrics, including leads generated, conversion rates, and return on investment, and provide insights for optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including development, communications, and program staff, to ensure alignment of fundraising and marketing efforts with organizational goals and priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in donor acquisition, marketing, sales, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage effectively with donors and stakeholders.
  • Excellent writing skills, capable of crafting compelling messaging and content for marketing materials.
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail, proficient in managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
