Job Title: Sr Transition Manager - PROSCI, Agile 

Location: Portland, OR (remote OK) 

Duration: 2-3 Months 

Special Requirements

  • Working with international teams, might have to take meetings between 7am-7pm (hours will adjust to early or late end to compensate) 

Job Description:

  • A Digital Transformational Adoption & Change Office (DTACO) is seeking a Senior Transition Manager to support Transition Management (TM)/Adoption excellence, the largest digital transformation programs. This person will be helping to scale TM capabilities and communities across Global Technology.
  • This role will be responsible for partnering with DTACO leadership to manage and deliver change/TM strategies. They will drive implementations on medium to large projects for Global Technology and steer the strategic direction of the change portfolio across Technology in relation to business related transformation projects.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON 

  • The ideal candidate will be able to apply their change management experience to help solve complex challenges by aiding in identifying and streamlining processes, integrating tools and managing the impact of change to the organization.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams that include transition management leadership, portfolio, program, and project managers inside and outside of Global Technology.
  • We also envision this person helping to develop change portfolio measurement strategies and metrics to evaluate change impact, readiness, and adoption. 

Duties May Include: 

  • Contributes by applying TM methodologies and tools to generate impact assessments, key partner engagement plans, organizational readiness assessments, communication plans and learning/development materials. 
  • Performing analysis and evaluation of changes in portfolio to identify change collisions, evaluate directional alignment, call out potential risks and to raise/secure necessary leadership decisions. 
  • Plan and facilitate workshops training on Transition Management practices, outcomes and artifacts.
  • Drive TM principles and methodology across select medium to large regional or global initiatives.
  • Activate training and communication plan and materials for initiatives to generate momentum.
  • Drive awareness and engagement with key partners while minimizing disruptions.
  • Assist in managing communities of practice through content development and program maintenance.
  • Occasionally serve as an internal consultant to various internal program and initiatives impacting internal end users. 

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH 

The Senior Transition Manager will collaborate with digital transformation team members, various levels of stakeholders and sponsors to define, build and implement comprehensive transition management strategies for various programs and initiatives. These business units typically include:

  • Digital Transformation Adoption and Change Office Leadership 

  • Business Aligned Technology Domain Initiative Owners & Teams 

  • Global Communications 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, HR, Marketing, Communications or a related field; 2 years additional relevant and professional experience in lieu of a degree
  • 5 years of industry experience in project/program management 
  • Advanced skills using MS Office and intermediate skills using other software applications to complete and own tasks, schedules, and projects 
  • Familiarity with the Agile/Scaled Agile development and Change Management methodology; PROSCI or IDEO certification a plus 
  • Effective experience implementing Change & Transition Management theory and strategies for large scale global initiatives 
  • Uses design thinking to effectively clarify and communicate concepts and ideas 
  • Strong influencing skills and competency to interact with team, senior management and many cross-functional teams 
  • Tolerance for ambiguity, strong prioritization skills and the ability to work well across a matrixed environment at all levels of business
