Job Title: Sr. IT Project Manager

Location: Atlanta, Georgia (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
The IT Project Manager, Sr. plans and coordinates all aspects of IT specific projects from initiation to delivery. The role of this position is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to agreed-upon deadlines and within budget. The role also includes acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to the established project plan. This role defines the project’s objectives and ensures the delivery of quality. What distinguishes the Senior level is that projects for this role are typically larger and more complex than for non-Sr. Project Managers. This is a fully seasoned professional level capable of independently carrying out most assignments. This level would be attainable by multiple incumbents in a work group (not necessarily by all) but would not be an ‘automatic’ promotional level.

Minimum Qualifications - Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or business (equivalent professional experience may be considered for substitution for the required degree on an exception basis).
5 years of specific professional experience such as team or project lead.
Preferred Qualifications - Education & Experience
Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or business (equivalent professional experience may be considered for substitution for the master’s degree on an exception basis) with 5-8 years of experience.
