Title: Supervisor Patient Access – Admitting/Registration

Position Shift Options: Full-Time 12p-830p/8a-430p Rotation

Position Summary:

Responsible for the supervision of the Admitting/Registration Registrars. Works closely with affiliated departments to insure an expedient patient flow. Is responsible for enforcing policies and procedures. Ensures work processes are efficient and customer focused. Coordinates with physician and hospital staff to provide quality care and patient safety. Participates in hospital-wide performance improvement and customer service programs. Serves on appointed committees.

Excellent interpersonal and management skills required to successfully communicate with employees, technical staff, physicians, patients, administration, other departments and the public. Good oral speaking and presentation skills are necessary.

Credentials / Education:

• Required: 1 Year Supervisory Experience Required

• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree & 2 Years Related Healthcare Experience
