We're looking for a compassionate and responsible individual to train here at our highly regarded Nursing Assistant program. Our Nursing Assistants are responsible for completing a wide range of duties including home health care, assisting patients with daily living activities and preparing patients for appointments. We're looking for a professional who is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and has previous experience assisting in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out nursing tasks as per the physician's orders.
  • Make sure that the patient does not feel uncomfortable with the care given by you or other workers.
  • Communicate with hospital staff if you have any doubts about the patient's condition.
  • Remove soiled linens, turn and position patients, change bedpans, and bathe patients.
  • Prepare the patient for examinations and assist during the examination process.
  • Help fill out paperwork.
  • May assist with first aid procedures.

Qualifications
- Basic life support certification
- Proficiency in EMR and EHR systems
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Experience in patient care settings
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to adapt to various patient care needs

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Physical setting:

  • Outpatient

Standard shift:

  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Night shift
  • Overnight shift

Supplemental schedule:

  • Holidays
  • On call
  • Overtime

Weekly schedule:

  • 3x12
  • Every weekend
  • Monday to Friday
  • Rotating weekends
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

  • Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • CPR Certification (Required)

Work Location: On the road
