Maumee Bay Lodge is seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Retail Associate to join our team at our location in Oregon, Ohio. This part-time hourly position will have responsibility for providing exceptional customer service to guests, assisting with retail sales, and maintaining the overall appearance and organization of the retail shop. 

May work rotating shifts of days, mids or nights. Must be available weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
• Provide recommendations and assist with product selection
• Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately
• Restock and organize merchandise on sales floor
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of retail shop
• Assist with inventory management and replenishment
• Follow all safety and security protocols
• Complete opening and closing procedures as needed
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns in a friendly manner
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and ensure a positive guest experience
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Must be 18 or older
• Previous customer service or retail experience preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
