Maui Federal CreditUnion is seeking a full-time Member Service Representative I (MSR I) to join our team. Help us to meet our mission towards building financial relationships with members to enhance their future.

Job Description:
Responsible for a variety of tasks including: providing exceptional member service, processing member transactions accurately and efficiently, helping resolve member concerns in a timely fashion, and identifying Credit Union products and services that will help to improve the financial lives of our members. The MSR I position will also be responsible to perform specific assigned back-office duties and assist with other various duties as assigned. The MSR I candidate is expected to always balance their cash drawers, build great rapport with members, and be a team player who takes pride in performing well and enjoy helping others.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• General knowledge of Teller/Member Service Representative operations and procedures, but not required.
• Willingness to learn and understand Credit Union operations.

Skills and Abilities:

• Professional appearance, courteous manner, and positive attitude.
• Exceptional time management, communication, and member service skills.
• High level of accountability, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment including adding machine, coin & money counting machines and telephone.
• Proficient typing and 10-key skills.
• The ability to handle all confidential matters professionally; always maintaining the privacy of our member’s account information with integrity.
• Cash handling experience and strong sales skills are a plus.
