POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Associate will be responsible for all warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, restocking, order picking, selecting, loading/unloading. This will involve accurate picking and packaging of customer orders, stock put away as well as inventory cycle counts related to all finished and raw materials.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Picking customer orders, product put away, labeling, inventory cycle counts
• Accurate completion of paperwork, verifying shipment information.
• Utilizes material handling equipment to retrieve product, lifting of products and placing and sealing product in shipping cartons
• Identifies and resolves issues in various functional areas, such as put away, replenishment, staging, loading, and shipping
• Verifying shipment information and accurate completion of paperwork,
• Organizes, monitors, and maintains locations in WMS to support efficient warehouse processing and maximize warehouse space used.
• Interdependencies: Receiving, production, field services, Quality
• Other duties that may be needed in the department to satisfy customer requirements.
• Maintains a safe working environment by following safety rules and regulations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
• Forklift Certification would be an asset.
• Possess basic computer skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Be able to lift 50lbs unassisted.
• Experience in warehouse environment and knowledge of warehouse management systems would be a definite asset
• Consistent commitment to working safely
