Matthew M. Hanley, Attorney at Law is Hiring an Immigration Paralegal Near Columbus, OH

We are looking for a full-time paralegal to join our Columbus, Ohio, office. With offices in Arlington, Texas, and Columbus, Ohio, we specialize in federal immigration law, including family visa petitions, naturalization, employment-based immigration, removal and deportation defense, and asylum and refugee applications.

Job Summary

The immigration paralegal position will include communicating with clients, courts, and federal agencies; assisting the office in preparing court and agency filings; case management and record keeping; and research.

A bachelor's degree and previous law office experience are preferred but not required. We are willing to train and mentor, but the applicant must have strong writing and analytical skills. Successful applicants must be exceptionally organized, punctual, and capable of working under pressure.

We are a small boutique law office that works collaboratively as a team. Applicants must enjoy building relationships with clients and must provide exceptional customer service. Strong preference will be given to applicants who are fluent in a second language, preferably Spanish. Preference will also be given to candidates who speak Somali and/or French. Salary will be competitive and based on experience.
