Job Summary:
As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting Dr. Brink in providing high-quality eye care services. You will be responsible for conducting various diagnostic tests, preparing patients for examinations, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. Responsibilities:

• Assist Dr. Brink in performing glaucoma and comprehensive eye examinations and procedures.
• Conduct preliminary tests and gather patient medical histories.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as visual field testing, OCT, and UBM.
• Administer eye drops and medications as directed by the physician.
• Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care and medication instructions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment.
• Manage patient flow and appointment scheduling.
• Provide excellent patient care and address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Certification as an Ophthalmic Technician (COA, COT, or COMT) preferred.
• Previous experience in an ophthalmic or medical setting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using ophthalmic diagnostic equipment and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $40.00 per hour
