The Opportunity:
As a global toy and family entertainment company, Mattel is the undisputed leader when it comes to creating and marketing dolls. The team is hiring a Global Senior Marketing Associate to support the Manager of Global Brand Marketing in executing best-in-class global brand and marketing strategies, working across brands such as Barbie and Licensed IP.

What Your Impact Will Be:

Campaign Development & Execution:

  • Support Manager in building global marketing plans tied to global brand strategy and marketing tentpoles
  • Create marketing decks and communications to inform cross-functional partners and regional marketing teams of global marketing plans
  • Conduct regular analysis of marketing initiatives, provide insights to refine strategies for maximum impact, and evaluate overall effectiveness of marketing programs
  • Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and tactics based on market trends, consumer insights, and business objectives
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to identify opportunities for improvement

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between the brand marketing team, regional marketing teams, and cross-functional partners to align on objectives and facilitate campaign execution and asset management
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and ensure a unified approach to marketing initiatives
  • Partner with global product marketing team to understand sales lifts against programs at brand/segment level and build recap reports with cross-functional partners

Project Management

  • Support Manager in end-to-end project management of marketing campaigns, from conceptualization to execution and analysis
  • Maintain operational excellence via proactive communication of present and forward-looking global marketing needs for cross-functional partners and regional marketing teams
  • Align with cross-functional teams to understand project timelines and partner to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule and within budget
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop marketing assets including YouTube content, social content, influencer programs, and digital video ads that are aligned to global brand marketing strategy
  • Work alongside Marketing Manager to facilitate licensor management and requests
  • Assist with the development of presentation materials for key internal, partner and licensing meetings
  • Distribute marketing and content development materials to relevant stakeholders and share consolidated feedback with cross-functional partners.

What We're Looking For:

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business/Communications or related preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years Marketing experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with people at all levels
  • Must be comfortable presenting to large audiences
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong time management, planning and project execution skills
  • Computer proficiency: MS Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Studio/entertainment industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated agrowth mindset by staying curious and continuously learning, embracing challenges, and improving themselves.

The annual base salary range for this position is between $73,600.00 and $103,000.00.
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate's work location, skills and experience.
