About this role: As a Renderer and 3D Artist at MATTE, you will play a crucial role in bringing our clients' visions to life. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects across multiple industries. This position reports to the Sr. 3D Designer and Renderer and is responsible for:
- Create high-quality, photorealistic 3D renderings and animations that align with project objectives and client requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the design and creative teams to ensure accurate representation of concepts and ideas.
- Model, texture, light, and render 3D scenes using industry-standard software (e.g., Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Blender).
- Optimize and troubleshoot 3D assets and scenes to maintain efficiency and meet project deadlines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance rendering techniques.
- Provide creative input and contribute to the development of visual concepts and designs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure project success.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to project timelines.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Computer Graphics, Animation, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a 3D artist and renderer in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering software (e.g., Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, V-Ray, Arnold).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of 3D rendering and animation work.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Knowledge of current design trends, color theory, and composition.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a creative team environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present and explain design concepts.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Time management skills with the ability to meet project deadlines.
