Mattachine Security Service is located in West Hollywood, CA. We provide professional and dedicated security staff to popular nightlife venues in and around the WeHo/Beverly Hills area. Overview:

We are seeking experienced security officers and/or military veterans to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure, and fun environment for our client’s patrons and employees.

Job Duties:

All duties listed below will be performed in a nightlife/club/restaurant environment that will require of each officer the utmost professionalism and maturity when dealing with patrons who might be intoxicated or unruly. This is not a stereotypical bouncer job and any overzealous actions by our officers will not be tolerated. First and foremost is always to show respect and courtesy towards our client’s patrons.

To accomplish our duties, you will need to:

- Circulate among patrons at the premises to ensure the safety and security of everyone and deter the theft of personal property

- Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies

- Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons and staff

- Perform access control by regulating the entrance and departure of patrons to prevent underage entry and drinking

- Provide crowd control measures as necessary

- Respond to emergencies and call local law enforcement or other first responders if necessary

- Interacting with client managers and staff, patrons, and fellow security teammates in a friendly cooperative manner

- Ensure compliance with applicable alcohol regulations and assist in managing situations that involve intoxicated or unruly patrons

Minimum Requirements:

- A valid Guard Card issued by BSIS

- A GED or high school diploma

- Prior security experience in the nightlife or hospitality industry

- Excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills

- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

- Prior military and/or law enforcement experience is a major plus

- RBS Certification is a plus

- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus

- A college degree is desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 35 per week
