Matt Blatt Kia of Abington is seeking an experienced B-Level Auto Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation of technical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. As a B-Level Auto Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of automotive services and assisting in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Conduct diagnostic tests using specialized tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues
• Perform repairs and replacements of automotive parts, including brakes, suspension components, and exhaust systems
• Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex automotive problems
• Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repair recommendations and timelines
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines in the shop

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Auto Technician in a dealership or independent shop setting
• State and Emissions State License required
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• ASE certifications (or equivalent) in relevant areas (such as Engine Repair, Brakes, Suspension, and Electrical) preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
