We are seeking an experienced Molding Technician to assist with the setting and pulling of molds in our Plastic Injection Molding Division. Primary duties include:
1. Installing and setting up of injection molds and molding related support equipment to established work cell layouts at the start of production and/or sample runs;
2. Assisting with the pulling of molds and support equipment upon completion of production and/or sample runs;
3. Assisting with the basic troubleshooting of molding machine red lights to minimize press downtime;
4. Providing general maintenance related assistance to support the operation of production equipment and peripheral support equipment; and
5. Assisting with the support of direct production related activities as needed throughout the shift (such as basic part inspection, filling in for press operators at breaks, etc.).
Interested candidates should be experienced with the operation of a plastic injection molding environment and have good mechanical ability. Basic knowledge of injection molding equipment along with a working knowledge of mold setup procedures is preferred, but on-the-job training will be provided to right candidate. A take charge attitude with strong decision making skills, independent work ethic and good communication skills are also required.
Scheduled work hours are from 3:30 PM through 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, plus overtime as scheduled.
