Matlab, Inc. is a leader in the custom paint and powder coating industry. We offer Class A automotive finishing and powder coating. Matlab currently serves the industries of heavy truck, automotive, industrial equipment, security equipment, aerospace, consumer products, medical and others.

Essential Functions:

· Knowledge of industrial paint application with HVLP paint gun and pressure pot.

· Knowledge of applying masking and sanding.

· Ability to read and understand basic work instructions.

• Must be able to pass a respirator physical and fit test.

Physical Demands:

· Must pass respirator physical and be able to wear respirator 6-8 hours per day

· Some lifting (15-25 pounds), occasionally up to 50 lbs, over 50 lbs requires team lift

· Stooping, reaching and moving of carts

· Standing 8-10 hours per day on concrete floors

· Good eyesight, must be able to see color variations (Note: Glasses cannot be worn with full face respirator mask.)

· Normal Hearing

Work Environment:

· Concrete floors

· Warm during summer months and cool during winter months

· Dusty/dirty environment

· Exposure to paint and chemical fumes

· Constant noise within paint booth

NOTE: House painting does not apply.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
