RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment.
• Operate /monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
• Load and unload items on the production line, including packaging or unpacking products.
• Start and stop the production line as needed to keep up with workflow and prevent potential safety hazards.
• Inspect products for defects and pull items off the line before they proceed further in the production process.
• Produce products within 100% specification as requested by the customer
• Delivery of product to meet scheduled customer demands and meet quality objectives
• Works with manufacturing staff on quality and production-related issues.
• Possesses the ability to read and understand ruler and traceability records.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Combination of additional education and experience
• Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions
• Ability to read blueprints and take measurements with a ruler
• Ability to run and operate similar equipment
• 3 years’ experience with operating machinery, and inspection in a similar function or environment
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Display knowledge of key areas of the manufacturing process
