Job Summary
The Vice President of Operations will oversee production, distribution, and maintenance teams on a daily basis to ensure safe & efficient plant operations at multiple sites within a region. Additionally the Vice President of Operations will be directly responsible for safety, quality, and regulatory requirements as they relate to personnel and the multiple plants under their direction. The Vice President of Operations will also measure operational efficiency and monitor staffing needs to ensure the all locations operates safely and efficiently. To perform this job successfully,an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Functions
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly manages the multiple plant managers and region operations managers in accordance with the organization's policies, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) |
Experience with principles and operation of mechanical equipment such as pumps and compressors. |
Experience with reading and understanding flow diagrams and P&ID's |
5 Years plant, production, manufacturing, distribution, or equivalent experience |
5 Years of management experience leading teams with 10 or more members |
Experience in industrial gas filling production or distribution preferred |
