Technical Services Representative

We are searching for an experienced Technical Services Representative at our Irving TX facility.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

POSITIONSUMMARY
The TechnicalServices Representative will perform and assist with aspects conducted by the TechnicalServices department to enable business operations to Electronic, Specialty andIndustrial gas customers. TechnicalServices is a team of experts in the use and maintenance of multiple Matheson businesssystems, who support system users in the daily activities as well as facilitateimprovements of current systems to meet internal needs and specific customerrequirements. The team will also play an integral role in the development andimplementation of new systems. Theindividual will be a part of a team that supports Operations, Sales, ProductManagement, and Customer Service, with close ties to the Information TechnologyGroup. The essential abilities of themembers of this team are problem solving, strong computer skills, teamwork, andcommunication. The individual must alsobe dedicated to understanding and achieving the Matheson safety and qualitygoals. The position reports to theDirector of Technical Services.
ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties maybe assigned.
Create and document new Electronic, Specialty Gas and Industrial gas part numbers into business systems.
Enter, edit and manage customer specifications in business systems.
Create and upload electronic customer Certificates of Analysis for products which involves learning how to use various customer systems.
Support the automation of electronic certificate uploads.
Create manufacturing records and product labels as part of system development.
Run customer shipment reports and analyze results to ensure timely shipments to customers.
Build ad hoc reports.
Ensure the accuracy of data in business systems.
Assist with development and testing of new programming in our current business systems involving end-to-end testing including: Order Entry, Order Shipment, Transfer Order Entry, Transfer Order Shipment, inventory creation and inventory adjustments.
Drive the development, testing, and implementation of new improved systems as the current systems are upgraded and replaced.
LOCATION ANDHOURS OF WORK Typical hours for thisposition are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and possibly someweekend hours if applicable. This is afull-time position located in Montgomeryville, PA.

EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
Education - technical degree such as B.S. degree in Business or a related field. Additional education in computer systems and/or Business Management is preferred.
A minimum of three years of work experience, applicable to business systems is necessary.
Experience with computerized data management systems and Enterprise Resource Programs is advantageous.
Experience and knowledge of the gas industry is a strong advantage.
