Warehouse/Backup Driver – Home Daily

$25.00 per hour / up to $65,000 per year

MATHESON drivers mainly haul cylinders filled with compressed gases and they can also haul welding hard good supplies. This driver position is local home daily with a Monday through Friday schedule. WAREHOUSE-TRUCK DRIVER

The Warehouse Laborer/Truck Driver receives, stores, and distributes merchandise and cylinders within establishment and onto distribution trucks by performing the following duties:

• Fills all gas cylinders, high and low pressure, and liquid containers in accordance with safety procedures, quality assurance manual and FDA requirements
• Operating pumps and compressors
• Involves movement of cylinders as required in the plant
• Completes all documentation and forms in compliance with company policy and FDA requirements during the fill process
• Forms include: Daily production report, FDA log sheet, Label Verification form, Calibration form and Bulk log sheet
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine what cylinders or equipment need to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Drives and makes deliveries 2 or more days per week

REQUIREMENTS:

• CDL Class B license
• 1 year Commercial CDL driving experience
• Hazmat endorsement (or willing to get it immediately) is needed
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum one year experience in the gas/welding industry as a warehouse worker
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook E-mail), and Timms
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Forklift Certification a plus
• Hazardous materials training and certification a plus
• Be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
• Occasionally push cart and/or move up to 100 pounds
