Industrial Shop Helper / General Laborer (Fresno, CA)

Compensation: wages determined based on experience

Material Movers, Inc. is seeking a shop-yard assistant / general labor person to work to keep shop/warehouse clean and organized. Day to day duties of moving,lifting, and organizing parts and shop supplies. This is a full-time position; $16- $18 per hour to start; with room to advance in position.
Candidates must be self-motivated, reliable, and able to get to work on time everyday. All candidates must have a valid California driver’s license and be able to pass a drug test.
Qualifications:

• Lifting 50 lbs unassisted
• Carrying 50 lbs unassisted
• Pushing 200 lbs unassisted
• Standing/Walking 100%
• Turning/twisting/bending/crouching/kneeling/reaching overhead 100%
• Must be able to understand and carry out oral instructions
• Must be able to count, make simple arithmetic additions and subtractions
• Ability to use measuring devices such as tape measure, gauges, and rulers
• Operate equipment such as autos, trucks, and forklifts
• Work rapidly for long periods of time
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must have a valid California Driver’s License
• Must be at least 21 years of age
