**Job Title: Middle School English Teacher**

**Responsibilities:**

1. Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive English language and literature lessons that align with curriculum standards and objectives.

2. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students and maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

3. Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology to enhance student learning and engagement.

4. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments and provide timely feedback to students and parents.

5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and projects that integrate English language arts with other subject areas.

6. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress, concerns, and achievements.

7. Implement and uphold school policies and procedures, including behavior management and discipline, to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.

8. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning.

**Qualifications:**

1. Bachelor's degree

2. Valid Florida teaching certification

3. Demonstrated knowledge of middle school curriculum standards and instructional strategies.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

6. Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the needs of students and the school community.
