Mater Academy Charter Middle High School is an "A" Ranked College Preparatory Charter School in Miami Dade County. We are looking for Dynamic, Innovative, and Knowledgeable Educators to join our team for the 2024-2025 School Year.

We are looking for Certified MATH TEACHERS for 6th - 12th Grade Students. The position is open to candidates with at least a Bachelor's Degree and a Florida Department of Education Certificate in MATHEMATICS 5-9 or MATHEMATICS 6-12 (Professional, Temporary, or Statement of Eligibility). Experience with teaching, preparing students for state exams is preferred.

We are a Title I School with 86% Free and Reduced Lunch and a 99% Graduation Rate. More than 25% of our Seniors Graduate with an AA from Miami Dade College. We offer Dual Enrollment, 26 Advanced Placement Classes, are a Nationally Certified STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Science) and have earned GOLD STEAM Designated School including a robust Performing Arts Academy.

Our teachers are paid commensurate to MDCPS and have a generous 401K and Benefits Package. We have openings for Full-Time Teachers in the 2024-2025 school year and interested applicants should apply as soon as possible.

Responsibilities
- Create engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Implement effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
- Provide individualized support to students to help them achieve academic success
- Communicate regularly with parents and colleagues to discuss student progress and address any concerns
- Stay current on educational best practices and incorporate new teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for students
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continue growing as an educator
- Foster a love for mathematics and a growth mindset in students through mentorship and guidance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,500.00 per year
