Mater Academy Charter Middle High School is Hiring a High School MATHEMATICS TEACHER for the 2024-2025 School Year Near Hialeah, FL

Mater Academy Charter Middle High School is an "A" Ranked College Preparatory Charter School in Miami Dade County. We are looking for Dynamic, Innovative, and Knowledgeable Educators to join our team for the 2024-2025 School Year.

We are looking for Certified MATH TEACHERS for 9th - 12th Grade Students (including Geometry, Algebra II, PreCalculus and Statistics). The position is open to candidates with at least a Bachelor's Degree and a Florida Department of Education Certificate in MATHEMATICS 6-12 (Professional, Temporary, or Statement of Eligibility). Experience with teaching, preparing students for state exams.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a positive learning environment for students.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students and facilitate their understanding of mathematics concepts.
- Provide individualized support to students who may require extra assistance.
- Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, and school administration regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Stay updated on best practices in mathematics education and incorporate innovative teaching methods when appropriate.
- Collaborate with other teachers to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching skills and knowledge in the field of mathematics.
